We often pick up different fruits for the children, and so do the in-laws. At one point we ended up with several pomegranates not knowing what to do with them.

Pomegranate seed ice cubes are fun to make, look good and are delicious. The children love them in their drinks (they make water exotic) and I love them in a gin and tonic.

Spoon the seeds into your ice cube tray and fill up with water (or lemonade!). We found that if you just cover the bottom of the tray you got a pretty effect.

(This photo was taken before I started reducing our plastic bags use, so apologies. Please keep ice preferably in glass jars or at least reusable containers. Thank you)
